An aerobatic aircraft is an aerodyne (an aircraft heavier than air) used in aerobatics, both in flight exhibitions and aerobatic competitions.
They are designed with the aim of obtaining the best performance in aerobatics. This design leads to a general loss of functionality, such as tourism capacity (autonomy, capacity, number of passengers) or ease of handling. At a basic level, aircraft capable of aerobatic maneuvers can be easy to handle, having a good tourist capacity while maintaining the ability to perform basic aerobatics.[1]
